Wrapping Up An Absolutely Brilliant TeamSTEPPS® Workshop at EMS' Simulation Training Center!

Regional Simulation Training Center Provides Opportunities for Training

Exton, Pa., June 26, 2015 -- The Global Institute for Simulation Training hosted the TeamSTEPPS® Essentials PLUS Course (June 22-24) conducted by Timothy C. Clapper (second from left), PhD, Simulation and Education Consultant, TC Curriculum & Instructional Design, LLC. Attendees from Temple Hospital, Villanova University (Nursing), the University of Maryland, and the Hospital Nacional / Clinica IEQ Los Mangos in Panama participated in the workshop.

Supporting the TeamSTEPPS® workshop was Gaumard Scientific which executed multiple simulations with the "Victoria" mannequin. And our own Rob Natale played the part of the concerned (and animated) husband to the collapsed patient (Victoria). Amazing energy and enthusiasm made for some great discussions on how to ensure that simulation will be taken to new heights in the participants' environments.

"It is a pleasure to facilitate my ground-breaking courses at EMS’ Simulation Training Center hosted by the Global Institute for Simulation Training. The facility affords the resources and atmosphere I require to create a supportive and enriched learning environment. The team supporting the event was accommodating and always willing to assist. Without hesitation, I would consider offering additional courses at this great facility."
